Passage: Ephesians 5:3–5:10
In the first two verses of Ephesians 5, Paul exhorts us with the weighty charge to imitate God but then let's us know that we are invited to do that as His chidlren following the example of Jesus as He gave Himself up as a sacrifice for our benefit and for the glory of God. Paul now gets more practical, while still strong, as he gives some very clear pictures what should and should not be part of our lives as we seek to live out what we already are in Christ.
